Guilty Crown (9th-12th Episodes)

Yahiro --the person who previously betrayed Shu-- ran away from the ‘Norma-Gene’ because they planned to put down Jun (his brother, who was infected by Apocalypse). The reason why he betrayed Shu was also because of Jun, the ‘Norma Gene’ offered to transfer Jun to a facility for Apocalypse treatment. Shu encountered Yahiro and then decided to help Jun, said that he couldn’t forgive Yahiro but Jun had nothing to do with them. However, Shu’s movements were monitored by Saigo (actually I'm not sure if his name is really Saigo or not, how irresponsible of me (--“)). Saigo set the trap to catch them. Shu then extracted Yahiro’s void to fight the enemies, but Jun was fused with an Endlave (some robot unit piloted by human, in this case by GHQ armies). The fused Jun asked Shu to kill him; otherwise he would kill Yahiro so he wouldn’t be a burden to Yahiro anymore. Shu couldn’t decide between the two options. In the end, Shu killed Jun when Jun was trying to kill Yahiro.

Shocked, Shu get depressed and traumatized to use the ‘Void Genome’ again. He even decided to quit the Undertaker and back to his everyday life. He contacted Hare (his female friend who has a crush on him) and took advantage of her feeling, asked her to help him. Meanwhile, the Undertaker carried a plan without Shu. But, the team fell into the enemy trap. Keido used ‘the item’ to spread a resonance gene, and once again, the ‘Apocalypse’ was spread into the world.

Inori intended to stop the resonance gene, with the help of Shu’s mother. She believed that Shu would come. Meanwhile, Shu and his friend, Hare, met the mini robot (it belongs to Inori, I forgot its name). Tsugumi  --the IT crew of Undertaker-- communicated with Shu via the robot. She said that now the Undertaker almost done for, and blamed him for running away. Shu then decided to help Gai, Inori, and the Undertaker. He gathered his friends,  the people whom will help him with both morally and their void. After Yahiro confronted Shu in front of the others, they decided to help. Together, they infiltrated the GHQ, using Tsugumi’ skill to manipulate the network, the Prez’s void to block the attack, Hare’s void to repair things, Souta’s void to open the lock, etc..

Shu found Inori, and use Yahiro’s void to make a way out from the enemy while approaching her. A blonde man came from a portal behind Inori, and took her to the portal. Shu followed them, but the blonde man said that he must remember the thing he had forgotten..if Shu really want to come. Shu then remembered a memory of her older sister, Ouma Mana and Gai, ten years ago.

Ten years ago summary: Shu and Mana helped Gai. Little Shu was a cheerful and brave boy, to the point that Gai admired him as his best friend. Gai also loved Mana, but Mana is a yandere type that loved Shu more than anything else. Mana holds the apocalypse virus within her..she was the first person who was infected by the it.. At December 24th 2029, after she threatened Gai.. Shu became afraid of her, to the point of called her ‘a monster’. It was a great shock for Mana. The virus was then activated and spreaded throughout the world.

Ten years after that. Keido (or maybe Kaido._.?) tried to resurrect Mana to bring the apocalypse back. And Inori was a body created with the sole purpose as a container for Mana. No wonder that she is so emotionless. Shu tried to stop the process, but some part of Mana emotions attack her. Gai and Ayase came and saved Shu. Gai asked Shu to draw his void; it was a gun that could draw the other’s void. Gai then draw out Inori’s void and gave it to Shu. When they reached Mana, Gai who was badly injured, asked Shu to stab Mana through him. Although he was a bit hesitated, Shu stab them. Gai and Mana then disappeared, while Shu and Inori came back safely.
