Tonari no
Kaibutsu-kun reminds me to Kimi ni Todoke. ^^
Why?
They have
similar art work.. their story is about high school life.. their story was told
from the main heroine point of view, and the most important is.. they both
shoujo-type-story with first love feelings theme. The heroines in both of the
stories experience some feelings that they never had before.. their world
change after they met the main male character.. in a cute way. :)
Of course,
the story and the plot are different. Kimi ni Todoke revolves around a
non-stand-out, gloomy girl (Sawako) and a popular, cheerful boy (Kazehaya)..
where Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun is about a cold, study-freak girl (Shizuku) and a
delinquent, carefree, yet smart boy (Haru).
Kazehaya is
a charming boy (I should admit that he always gives a fresh impression, no
matter how many times I rewatch Kimi ni Todoke), while Haru is more boyish.. he
is cool in his own way.
Story. 8/10.
